ISIC have worked with a wide range of international schools to review the quality and effectiveness of their teaching and learning using best practice tools and approaches.

This package of support provides a robust and objective peer review of the performance of teaching and learning across your international school using a team of expert school inspector consultants specially selected based your size, phase and location. 

 

Approach

Our approach is designed to mirror the types of activity commonly used by inspectorates around the world using a wide variety of data sources in order to provide a robust and reliable assessment of quality and the identification of areas for improvement. 

  • Prepraration and planning: This phase would involve the careful planning and preparation of the visit and consultancy support by the project manager and Lead Consultant and signed off by you to ensure it meets with your expectations and exact requirements. 
  • Consultancy visit; The review itself will involve lesson observations, pupil work scrutiny, pupil and staff interviews and an assessment of pupil attainment data. 
  • Report writing: A detailed report will then be written up. This will draw on the practical findings of the review coupled with a broad range of experience and expertise from the wider ISIC team. It will also be peer reviewed by a different senior Inspector Consultant before sign-off.
