Cayman Island Minister Praises ISIC
At the Third Meeting of the 2015/2016 Session of the Cayman Islands Legislative Assembly a statement was made to supplement the presentation of the Baseline Schools Inspections and the Education Governance Review Reports By the Honourable Tara Rivers, JP, MLA Minister of Education, Employment and Gender Affairs.
In the address the Minister provided an overview of the baseline inspections carried out in all 15 government schools across Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac between November 2014 and March 2015. She stated that ISIC was chosen by the local Lead Inspector because of its extensive record of having conducted independent school inspections in a number of countries, and for a proposal that outlined a very thorough inspections process.
When asked why ISIC was chosen to lead this highly successful review the Minister responded:
"ISIC had the capacity to respond to the scale of the project being requested and to complete it within the stipulated timeframe. The information provided by ISIC in terms of costing, flexibility of scheduling, deployment and the way they went about ensuring their understanding of the Cayman context and the exact requirements, made them an obvious choice."
