ISIC delivered a half-day seminar on how to teach an excellent lesson and the characteristics that would be looked for in an observed lesson on inspection.
This session provided delegates with the knowledge and tools to accurately describe lessons based on the ISI Integrated Inspection Grade Descriptors for ‘The Quality of the pupils’ achievements and learning’. This development seminar aimed to show how inspectors use lesson observation, alongside other evidence, to make judgements, and to advise how schools can use lesson observation effectively.
"The best INSET I have participated in during twenty years of teaching: The Trainer's ability to challenge and convey the key themes was invaluable. Outstanding and I will be inviting ISI Consultancy to work with us again either this academic year or next."
